Fate
On a voyage from Calcutta for Capetown & Pernambuco with a general cargo & a crew of 87 City of Corinth was torpedoed by German submarine U-508 (Georg Staats) & sank between Pernambuco & Trinidad on 17 November 1942. Sources state 11 lives lost but CWGC lists 12 names. Master George Johnston Law.
