City of Corinth - Lives lost 1942

On a voyage from Calcutta for Capetown & Pernambuco with a general cargo including linseed, tea & pig-iron & a crew of 87 City of Corinth was torpedoed by German submarine (U-508 Georg Staats) & sank between Pernambuco & Trinidad in 10.55N/61.01W on 17 November 1942. Sources state 11 lives lost but CWGC lists 12 names.
