Fate

The Norwegian steamship Victoria 2 was stopped by the German submarine UC-71 (Reinhold Saltzwedel) and sunk by explosive charges, 35 miles off Ushant, on July 6th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Fowey to New York with a cargo of china clay. There were no casualties.
