Fate

The Danish steamship Ulfsborg was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UC-63 (Karston von Heydebreck), off La Rochelle, on October 24th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Bilbao to Newport with a cargo of iron ore. Seventeen crew were lost.
