The Indian cargo ship Jalamanjari came ashore during bad weather, near the Heugh, Hartlepool, on March 14th, 1964. She was successfully refloated.
The ship was originally built in 1955 as the Meudon, for French owners. Scindia Steam Navigation Co., India, acquired the ship in 1964. In 1971 she was sold and renamed Harilion. She was eventually scrapped, following engine damage, at Kartal in 1972.
