A straggler in convoy OB-205 on a voyage from Liverpool for Father Point, Quebec in ballast Efploa was torpedoed by German submarine (U-101 Fritz Frauenheim) & scuttled with gunfire by British warship NW of Ireland in 52.27N/13.17W on 1 September 1940. Crew left in lifeboats.
