On a voyage from Rotterdam for Bilbao in ballast & with a total crew of 15 & 1 passenger Mount Stewart sank in deep water during fog after a collision with the London steamer Trinidad 4 miles SSE of Folkestone on 24 July 1894. Folkestone fishermen saved some of the crew. Master J. Blyth.
