Fate
The steamship Marie Susanne was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UC-37 (Otto Kumpel), 47 miles west of Mudros bay, on August 19th, 1918. The ship was on a voyage from Penarth to Salonika with a cargo of coal. No lives were lost. Master J.T. Smith.
