Sunk by gunfire from the German submarine U-38 (Max Valentiner)in the Mediterranean on February 24th, 1916. The ship was on a voyage from Huelva, Spain, to St. Louis du Rhone with a cargo of iron ore. One life was lost: Ole Olsen, Bergen, Norway.
