Fate

The British steamship War Arabis was torpedoed and sunk in the Mediterranean by the German submarine U-34 (Johannes Klasing), on September 9th, 1918. The ship was on a voyage from Bahia Blanca, in the Canary Islands, to Marseille with a cargo of wheat. No lives were lost. Master G.R. Rich.
