Fate

The British steamship Eastlands was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB-55 (Ralph Wenninger), 13 miles north-west of Ile de Vierge, France. The ship was on a voyage from Dunkirk to Bordeaux with stores. One crewman was lost. Master D. Lloyd.
