Loaded a cargo of cased petrol & government stores at London & joined convoy ETC-17 which left Southend on 24 June 1944 on a voyage for Gold Beach, Normandy. On the same day the convoy was attacked by German long range shore batteries in the Dover Straits. She was hit & beached east of Folkestone where she was declared a total loss. Master Robert Robinson. Two hands were lost.
