Fate

The refrigerator ship with a cargo of 14 million eggs & 3,000 tons of frozen meat was captured by the German battleship Admiral Scheer in 00.57N/22.42W on 18 December 1940 & her cargo used to re-supply 3 German auxiliary cruisers. She was scuttled by the German cruiser Pinguin on 18 February 1941.
