Fate

The British steamship Cadmus was torpedoed and sunk by submarine UC-47 (Kapitanleutnant Paul Hindus Wigankow) off Flamborough Head, on October 18th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Dunkirk to Blyth with a cargo of empty shell cases. No lives were lost.
