Fate

The steamship Drumloist sank in the entrance to the White Sea, on the north-west coast of Russia, on June 24th, 1915, after striking a mine believed to have been laid by the German Auxiliary Minelayer SMS Meteor. The ship was on a voyage from Archangelsk / Archangel to London with a cargo of railway sleepers.  Master J.S. Bailey.
