Fate

The steamship Taplow sailed from Huelva, Spain, on June 5th, 1917, bound for Port Talbot with a cargo of copper and copper ore, but was not heard from again.

All 29 crew were lost including Donkeyman Thomas Austin of West Hartlepool.
