Fate

The British steamship Clan Macpherson was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UC-27 (Otto Gerke), 24 miles north of Cape Serat, Tunisia, on March 4th, 1918. The ship was on a voyage from Malta to Colon with stores. Eighteen crew were lost.
