Fate

The Danish steamship Alexander Shukoff was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-87 (Rudolf Schneider), 30 miles off Bergen, Sweden, on August 22nd, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Bergen to Lerwick in ballast. No lives were lost. Master - A. Folfenburg.
