Looking up Park Road , the visible shops left to right are Park Builders and Ed Taylor TV shop. After Richard Street is Keith Longstaffe the bakers, Coverdale's Typewriter Shop and Bobby Davison wool shop. The latter is the only business existing today (2014) although all the shops are still in use. On the left outside the TV shop is a queue for the Rift House bus which went up Park Road, along Arncliffe Gardens, Baden Street, Shrewesbury St and Oxford Road to Rift House.
