The Hong Kong Restaurant and Volunteer Arms

What we know about this image :

Taken in the 1970s, the view shows a large Chinese restaurant and the Volunteer Arms. Both buildings have since been a variety of bars and eating houses and the restaurant is now two separate units.

The Volunteers opened in 1880 and in the late 1970s became the Tap and Spile, then later the Tavern , Flannaghans and finally The Loft.
