Herring Brothers

What we know about this image :

The Herring brothers John Frankland (Jack), and Kip (Alfred) sometime in the 1930s. Jack served on H.M.S. Dorsetshire, and was present during the hunt for the German battleship Bismarck. He was later killed when the Dorsetshire was bombed and sunk by Japanese aircraft in the Indian Ocean, in 1942.
