Old Boys rounded off their Centenary Celebrations on Sunday 25th April, 1993 when their President, Keith Dobson turned out his XV to play Durham County President Dave Allen’s XV.
Old Boys were drawn from Mick Parker, Garry Mayes, Darren Spencer, Peter Robinson, Dave Murray, John Stabler, Ian Bond, Kevin Lloyd, Andy Burdiss, Dave Webster, Steve Johnson, Stuart Hind, Brian Foreman, Tony Oliver, Phil Moore, Tom Barff, Craig Lee, Ray Hunter, Andy Boagey.
The County side included Nick Wade, Glynn Evans, Peter Lewington, Mark Veide, Gary Jackson, Peter Hails, Richard Chater, Andy Anderson, Brian Baldwin, Mark Binns, Steve Kitchen, Graeme Wanless, Steve Carrs, John Hutchinson and Rob White.
Alan Hughes was the man in the middle.

In line with a number of clubs both locally and nationally, Hartlepool Old Boys' name ceased in 1978 and they swapped to the title of "Hartlepool RFC" (and remain known as"Old Boys')
