Oreosa - Launch
The following is taken from the 'Fast Anchor', Vol.1 April 1954, No.5:
On 4th February, the single screw motor vessel Oreosa was launched from the Central Yard. This is the second of the six ore carriers building for Ore Carriers Limited of London, and is similar in design and detail to the Orelia. The christening ceremony was performed by Mrs. D.H. Kyle, wife of Mr. D.H. Kyle, Managing Director of B.I.S.C. (Ore) Ltd.
