Memories of Owton Manor Social Club

I'm originally a "Wagga" lad. I married Babs in 1963. 2 weeks later, President Kennedy was shot. We moved to Jamieson Road- we loved living there bringing up our family. Our neighbour was Nora- she was a barmaid at the Owton Manor Social Club. Over the years, I have lived in many part of the town.

I was a member of the Owton Manor Social Club, myself and my family had many happy times there.

I have really enjoyed talking about my memories today.
