Voyages: 1843-49 Sunderland to London.

Advance left Hartlepool on 9 January 1849 bound for London with a cargo of coal. On 11 January 1849 she struck on Middle Heaps & came off & went down in the Middle Deep in the Thames & sank in eight fathoms of water. Loss recorded by letter from owners to Hartlepool Customs House.
