Fate

The French steamship Craonne was sunk by gunfire from the German submarine U-63, 65 miles north-west of Cape Bougaroni, Algeria, on June 23rd, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Cette, France, to Algiers with a cargo of wood, resin and empty barrels. One crewman was lost.
