Fate

The British steamship Argo sank 5 miles north of Boulogne on February 8th, 1916, after striking a mine laid by the German submarine UC-3 (Erwin Webner) on January 25th. The ship was on a voyage from Boulogne to Dunkirk with a cargo of pitwood. One crewman was lost.
