Lost on the steamship Franz Fischer. 

Henry Patterson was born at Montrose in 1873, the son of the late John Patterson, a butcher. On August 6th, 1902, he married Elizabeth Elvidge, (both listed as living at No.8, Warwick Place, West Hartlepool), at All Saints Church, Stranton. Clara Elvidge and George William Langdale were Witnesses. Elizabeth's father is listed as a Labourer.

At the the time of his death, Henry and El;izabeth are listed as living at No.42, Westmoreland Street, West Hartlepool.
