An 'oval' road , mostly built between the 1st and 2nd Wars,which runs from Glendale Avenue and into Park Road to the south and into Grange Avenue and into Grange Road at the north end.
Decorated for the 1953 Coronation, this was at the time the Welford home looking at the Oval from Glendale Avenue.
