Fate

The British steamship Sheaf Blade was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-64 (Robert Moraht) off Cape de Gata, Spain, on October 25th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Messina to Almeria in ballast. Two of the crew were lost including the Master C. Morrison.
She had previously been shelled by a submarine on April 28th, 1917, at the entrance to the English Channel.
