Fate

The British steamship Firfield was torpedoed and sunk by UC-38 (Alfred Klatt) in the Aegean Sea 10 miles NW of Cape Papas, Greece in 37.42N/25.47E on July 16th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Salonica to Port Said with mail. Master 1916-1917 W. Clarke.
