Fate

The British steamship Lowther Range was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-91 (Alfred von Glasenapp), in the Irish Sea, 20 miles off the South Stack Rock on April 20th, 1918. The ship was sailing in convoy, on a voyage from Carthagena to Glasgow with a cargo of iron ore. No lives were lost. Master T.J. Barkley.
