Fate

The British steamship Charleston was sunk by the German submarine UB-65, (Kapitanleutnant Martin Schelle), 30 miles west of the Smalls, on December 12th, 1917.  The ship was on a voyage from Cardiff to Berehaven with a cargo of coal. Master - C. Anderson.
