Fate

Sank 9 miles south-east of the Kentish Knock Lightvessel, on April 4th, 1916, after striking a mine laid by the German submarine UC-1 (Egon von Werner) on March 21st. The ship was on a voyage from Port Breira to River Tyne with a cargo of iron ore. Master J. Jones.

One life lost-Robert Cook, fireman.
