Fate

Torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-54 (Volkhard Freiherr bon Bothmer) off the south-west of Ireland on February 4th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Devonport to Port Arthur in ballast. The master and chief engineer were taken prisoner.
