Sinking of the Kathleen

What we know about this image :

A photograph (by kind permission of Peter Moir), showing the wrecks of the steamships Stromboli (left), and the Kathleen (right), after colliding off Garvel Point near Glasgow, on December 31st, 1904. This image and the story of the collision is in the book 'Clyde Shipwrecks', by Peter Moir and Ian Crawford. Both ships were eventually raised. The Kathleen was later lost off the coast of France in 1907.
