Location
Edgar PhillipsWell known local electrical and plumbing firm. The workshops were in John Street. From around 1920, the company had a shop in Church Street next to the Yorkshire Bank but this recieved a direct hit from German bombs in 1940 and had to be demolished. Flats were built in the space in the 1990s. After the bombing, premises were bought on the other side of Church Street below Lynn Street.
